This White Card Course covers the unit of competency CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to Work safely in the construction industry which is mandatory for anyone who wants to work in the construction industry.

Our WHSQ approved White Card courses are currently held at our Strathpine training centre.  This nationally recognised course will increase your job opportunities and give you access to work in the construction industry.

The course will include:

  • 4.5 hour competency based training course
  • Face to face training by industry qualified trainer
  • All training materials provided
  • Suitable for large groups and individuals

On successful completion of the training & assessment, applicants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment (SOA) and Queensland WH&S Construction Induction Card (White Card) at the end of the course.

 
Participants must have Queensland residence and be over the age of 16 years. 
 
You will need a basic knowledge of:
  • Reading and interpreting safety signs
  • Locating key information for work, e.g. work instructions,
  • Having a minimum standard of English being able to write legibly, 
  • asking questions to clarify and confirm instructions, and
  • identifying and naming common uses of shapes, e.g. comparing use of shapes for road or danger signs
